PCEE Becomes Established in Law

The Pennsylvania Center for Environmental Education, a successful statewide  environmental education office housed at Slippery Rock University, has been strengthened by the recent passage of legislation; Act 71 of 2008 was passed on July 9.

“We are delighted to receive this vote of confidence from the commonwealth,” said PCEE director Kathleen Cowles Paul.  “PCEE has been working to expand its services and outreach, providing a growing number of Pennsylvanians with the educational tools and information necessary to have environmental education make a difference in their lives.”  Go directly to the press release.
