Evaluating the Information on Web Sites

Those that use the internet on a regular basis are aware that information found on the internet can be very valuable. We do not need to wait years to have access to the latest findings. We have access to information from the greatest thinkers of our time. We can have the information delivered right to our homes on demand. But... all this comes at a price. Anyone can put information out there for all to see. Incorrect, biased, misleading, propaganda... it is all available.

Users of the internet must become aware of ways to determine the quality of the information they are locating. In an attempt to aid in this awareness we have included a site that demonstrates the dangers of trusting web sites. We use this site to demonstrate the dangers of trusting the internet in gathering information on environmental issues.
