The Educational Resources Directory is a searchable database of environmental education resources, correlated with Pennsylvania's Environment & Ecology Standards. Searchable by grade level, topic or E&E Standard, the directory contains a variety of resources including books, audio-visual aids, lesson plan and links to useful websites.
Resources placed in the Resource Directory must be materials that were developed specifically for Pennsylvania.
Non-Pennsylvania specific resources may be included if they are endorsed by an agency or organization in Pennsylvania. Evidence of endorsement is demonstrated by: a) the resource must be physically housed on a Pennsylvania organization's website of b) the Pennsylvania organization must include their name and/or contact information on the distributed resource.
PCEE reserves the right to edit or not to include items that do not comply with these policies.
In addition, the Educational Resources Directory aligns with our website policies, which should be reviewed carefully before submitting a directory entry for consideration.
Evaluation of Environmental Education (EE) Resources
We wish to remind our visitors that resources placed in the directory have not been independently evaluated. Items have been identified as useful by our visitors, partners, material producers, and by the PCEE staff. It is the responsibility of the user of the database to assess whether the materials listed are useful for their intended purpose.
