April 15th through April 22nd is National Environmental Education Week! National Environmental Education Week is the largest organized environmental education event in U.S. history. It increases the educational impact of Earth Day (April 22nd) by creating a full week of educational preparation, learning, and activities.

Many Earth Day activities focus on how we can
reduce our energy consumption and make energy efficiency part of our everyday lives. Currently, the United States uses a lot of energy- nearly a million dollars worth each minute for 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
