Question of the Week

December 22 marks the Winter Solstice - the shortest day and the longest night of the year in the northern hemisphere. Also referred to as first day of winter, it marks the beginning of the coldest season of the year. As temperatures drop, humans bundle up in coats, hats, scarves, and gloves.

The cold affects wild animals, too.
