Similar in appearance to our native ladybugs, these Asian imports are excellent predators of aphids and other garden pests, but many people find their house-invading habits annoying.

Why do the lady beetles gather on the sides of houses and buildings in fall?

They are looking for suitable locations to lay their eggs.
