Water is vital to life on this planet.

Taking care of our watersheds is necessary in preserving this important natural resource.

Just what exactly is a watershed?
*Area of land that catches precipitation and drains into a common waterway, such as a river, lake, wetland or into the groundwater.
**Area of land that has water covering the soil or occurring near the surface of the soil for all or most of the year.
*** Area that collects wastewater in urban or other highly populated areas.
