This issue of "EE Connections" is dedicated to summer professional development opportunities for educators. Interested in gaining more tools to teach PA's Environment & Ecology Standards? Looking to learn more about your local environment? These events will help familiarize you with Pennsylvanian herps (amphibians and reptiles), engage youth in improving their community and environment, expand your knowledge of watershed-related issues, and more. Many programs allow for direct integration with your lessons and are aligned to state academic standards. Have a great summer! Contributions welcome! The Center receives news and information from a variety of sources across Pennsylvania and beyond. We appreciate all of the organizations, agencies and individuals who provide EE services and share their relevant information. If you would like to contribute to future issues of EE Connections, please submit your article before the 15th of the month. Articles should be of statewide interest and are subject to space availability. |
