Position Title: Weekend Manager

Position Type: Full Time permanent

Position Location: Dingmans Ferry, PA

Organization: Pocono Environmental Education Center

Duties:The Weekend Manager is responsible for the design, planning and administration of PEEC’s weekend programs and other and events offered to the public. Specific responsibilities include: Serve as the program coordinator and on-site manager for all weekend and public enrollment programs; Evaluate and upgrade existing program offerings; Provide new program offering ideas and help to develop new programs, particularly relating to sustainable living and environmental action topics; Research, identify, and reach out to new markets and new prospects; Teach EE programs and classes on as-needed basis.

Qualifications: BS in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or related field, strong people skills, experience in teaching and management, work style marked by taking initiative and responsibility, progressive and optimistic outlook.

Salary: $1400-$1600/mo plus room, board, benefits
