Position Title: Environmental Education
Instructor
Position Type: Seasonal, Between February and November
Position Location: Pocono Environmental
Education Center, Dingmans Ferry, PA
Duties:
• Plan and deliver day and evening environmental education programs. (No overnight supervision is required.)
• Develop program activities and lessons facilitated at the center.
• Assist with office and facility maintenance activities.
• Participate in staff training and development sessions.
Qualifications:
The candidate will have a background in Environmental Science, Biology, Ecology, Education, or related discipline, experience teaching and/or working with groups, ability to work independently and as a team player, a positive and progressive mindset, and an orientation towards working to complete tasks with quality. Instructor positions require a Bachelor’s Degree. First aid/lifeguarding certifications desirable.
Salary: Start at $900/mo plus room and board
