Organization: EPA - Student Environmental Developmental Program (SEDP)

Position Title: Teacher

Position Type: Seasonal - July 7 through August 21, 2008

Position Location: Philadelphia, Wilmington, Delaware, Washington, D.C., Baltimore, and Chester

Duties: The program is a combination of interactive classroom speakers, hands-on learning and field trips centered on environmental issues with a focus environmental inequities, leadership, community service & involvement. 

Qualifications: Candidate should have experience at the middle school level, as well as, a strong background and/or interest in science.  Preferred candidates will have a current and valid state certification, but is not required.  

Salary:Teacher will receive a contract wage stipend of approximately $4,000, payable in installments.
