Position Title: Environmental Educators/Seasonal Camp Staff

Position Location: Camp Allegheny, Stoystown, PA

Job Type: Seasonal

Salary Detail: $1500 - $2700 + room and board

Duties:

This residential camp program is the core of the Fox Chapel Area School District fifth grade Environmental Ed, and Social Studies curricula. Educator duties include:
• Instructing fifth grade students in the core environment/ecology and social studies curricula
• Helping to train and oversee high school students serving as camp counselors
• Leading activity hikes, campfires, and group activities.

Qualifications:

•Bachelors in environmental education, environmental studies, natural sciences, education or related field
•Ability to work well with all ages (elementary, high school, adult)
•Prior experience working with children a plus but not required
•MUST enjoy the outdoors, and autumn in the mountains
